#GivingTuesday: Join the Movement with Aurora Health Care Foundation

Giving Tuesday is a movement to create a global day of giving.

Giving Tuesday this year is Tuesday, December 3, 2013.  It is always the 1st Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.  Yep.  After all those days that recognize gratitude and great deals comes the day to give back.

Giving Tuesday is the day to stop shopping and start changing lives! Learn more about Giving Tuesday at www.givingtuesday.org or Aurora.org/GivingTuesday.

GivingTuesday-3More than 6,000 non-profit organizations across the globe are coming together to be a part of this social celebration of our great tradition of generosity!  We at Aurora Health Care Foundation are proud to be a partner in this, the 2nd year of this movement.

#GivingTuesday

With the growth of this movement, we hope your Facebook and Twitter feeds are filled with #GivingTuesday on December 3.

We are encouraging everyone to share how they give that day using #GivingTuesday, whether it is:

  • one hour of service at a community non-profit
  • making a donation to your favorite charity
  • visiting someone who is sick or lonely
  • buying fresh food at the grocery store for a neighbor or community pantry
  • the possibilities are endless!

We also invite you to make Aurora Health Care Foundation part of the way you give back on Giving Tuesday by making a donation at Aurora.org/GivingTuesday.

Giving makes the world a better place and improves the quality of life for so many – especially when your gift improves someone’s health.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter or subscribe to this blog to join us on December 3 for Giving Tuesday and to learn how your donations are changing lives!
