Thank you to The Walmart Foundation and Facility #1449 for its gift of $500 to support the KidShape program in Manitowoc. KidShape, a newly created program in the Manitowoc area, is taught by professionals, including a dietitian, youth physical activity instructor and other health educators.

Additionally, through a partnership with the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Y, children between the ages of 6-12 who are overweight or obese will work with a trainer on the physical fitness aspect of KidShape. Donor gifts through Aurora Health Care Foundation are making a difference by equipping kids and families with healthy routines and practices at home.
