During the month of June, more than 3,385 people made a difference for people with cancer by participating in one of the Lombardi Walks to Tackle Cancer.
There were five different walks taking place in Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Walworth County, Green Bay and Kenosha. A total of nearly $340,000 was raised to benefit the local Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics and cancer care programs. Thank you to everyone who participated in the walk/run or collected donations. Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Oshkosh
The Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Oshkosh was on Saturday, June 6 at Menominee Park in Oshkosh. A record breaking 554 people attended the walk with more than $68,000 raised to support and celebrate hope for those who have cancer in the Oshkosh area. 28th Annual Walk/Run to Tackle Cancer in Milwaukee
The Annual Vince Lombardi Walk/Run to Tackle Cancer was held on Saturday, June 13 at the Milwaukee County Zoo. More than 2,000 people participated and $181,000 was raised to benefit cancer care. Click here to see pictures from the walk/run.
Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Walworth County
The Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Walworth County was held on Saturday, June 13 at Edgewater Park in Williams Bay. 328 people attended the walk and more than $30,000 was raised to help build a new comprehensive Aurora Cancer Center serving western Racine and Walworth Counties featuring a state-of-the-art Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic. Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Kenosha
The Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Kenosha was on Saturday, June 20 at Veterans Memorial Park in Kenosha. Thank you to the more than 250 people who turned out for the walk. More than $16,000 was raised to benefit people who rely on the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. Click here to see more pictures from the Kenosha walk.
Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Green Bay
The Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer – Green Bay was held on Saturday, June 20 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center Campus. Nearly 250 people walked to show support of survivors and those battling cancer. And more than $43,000 was raised to help connect more people facing cancer in Green Bay to clinical trials and research. See pictures here.
