On a wet and rainy June day, 72 golfers participated in the second annual Color for Care: Rally for Community Cancer Care golf outing at Geneva National Golf Club. Color for Care raised nearly $6,000 from the golf event to support the healing garden at the new comprehensive cancer center serving western Racine and Walworth Counties.
Because everyone has been touched by cancer, participants choose to wear the ribbon color of the cancer that has impacted their own life or someone close to them. Additionally, 107 hats were donated by golfers to benefit people who are receiving cancer treatments.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Color for Care event. Your generous donations will benefit the people in our community who are battling cancer.
