When the Emergency Department at Aurora West Allis Medical Center was first constructed, it was designed to meet the needs of a community in the early 1990’s. Well it’s now 2015 and a lot has changed in the community surrounding the hospital. Today, the Emergency Department serves nearly 37,000 patients every year and the numbers continue to grow.
That’s why community support of the partial renovation of the Emergency Department is so important. The changes are aimed at enhancing the patient experience, with improvements to the reception, triage and waiting areas and an increase in the number of exam rooms. Every aspect of the renovation is uniquely designed with the patient and family in mind, to provide comfort, privacy and respect.
You can support this effort by attending the 5th Annual Evening of Promise on Wednesday, October 7. This business casual event is a fun opportunity to enjoy a night out and meet Aurora West Allis caregivers and community leaders. There will be live music and a delicious menu from Rupena’s Catering! You can place your bid in the Silent Auction and take your chance at a drawing to win fabulous prizes. CLICK HERE to purchase a ticket or make a gift.
