Celebrate love, life and memories at this year’s Tree of Angels

Those you love have such a profound effect on your life: They make you laugh; sometimes they make you cry; but they always make you you.

It’s hard enough when you lose a loved one, but it can be even harder around this time of year, when the holiday joy you always experienced together is now a memory.

Friends, old and new, spending time together at the 2015 Tree of Angels celebration and remembrance ceremony.

You can hold dear to those memories and create a new holiday ritual in the spirit of your loved ones when you join Aurora at Home for its annual Tree of Angels celebration and remembrance ceremony. With a gift of $30, you’ll receive a pewter angel ornament to serve as a tribute to the person who meant so much to you. A second angel with your loved one’s name will be hung from the holiday trees outside at the hospice, all throughout the holiday season.

It’s a chance to connect with those who share your feelings, or reconnect with caregivers at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice who may have cared for your loved ones in their final days and hours. Most of all, it’s a way to honor your loved one as the special angel in your life – now and always.

For more information on how you can remember your loved ones in this special way, contact Allison Klein at 414-219-4713 or Allison.Klein@aurora.org.

Tree of Angels is a celebration for our entire community. We are honored to help you remember your loved one, even if they did not receive care through the Aurora at Home Hospice program or Aurora Zilber Family Hospice.
