Walk to Remember raises $20,000 to support vital hospice care

Walk to Remember participants come together in any weather!

It was a typical fall day in Wisconsin: a little chilly, a little wet. It wasn’t a winter snowstorm, but it wasn’t a day at the beach either.

But that didn’t stop 200 big-hearted supporters of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice and Aurora Home Hospice Care from coming out to walk in the 3rd Annual Walk to Remember in Wauwatosa’s beautiful Hart Park.

And along with other donors, those 200 supporters raised $20,000 to support extraordinary patient care, family support services, caregiver training, plus much more.

“Together, we do so much to help families who are seeing a loved one through the last stage of their life,” said Aurora Foundation Coordinator Allison Klein, who organized the event. “It’s because of you that we’re able to provide the best possible care for patients and their families, both in those last moments, and with family support thereafter.”

Your support will make such a difference to patients and families who need our hospice services. “I want to thank you for helping Aurora Hospice Services continue to help families celebrate life,” Allison shared. “Hospice brings families together when it means the most.”
